Fixed Layout Type
Selecting the Fixed layout type, keeps the image container fixed. When this creative is rendered across different banner sizes, the images gets cut.
In the following screenshot, the creative for banner size 300px X 250px looks perfect, but the creative for other banner sizes get cut.
Responsive Layout Type
Making a creative responsive allows you to render the creative across different banner sizes. The container of the creative becomes fluid to adjust the elements and bring the best possible resolution.
In the following screenshot, the creative is adjusted for different banner size.
Adding a New Layout Type (Responsive)
Adding new layouts for different banner styles (landscape, square, and portrait) allows you to configure how the elements are displayed when the creative is rendered across different banner sizes.
In the following screenshot, 3 different layouts are created placing the elements in the creatives differently.
Based on the dimensions of the banner, the elements in the creative is positioned as defined in the layouts. The creative, when rendered across different banner sizes, it will display as follows:
