Once you've built your creative, you need placements for the creative or campaign to complete the setup.

In order to set the creative up, placements are used to define ad networks, ad servers, and additional trackers.

A placement will include:

  1. Creative placements details on the site or network

  2. Impressions or click volumes

  3. Custom trackers

Placements are used to group ad-units (or creatives) and provide marketers with an interface to run campaigns. This defines the position or where the creative will run such as Networks/Exchanges, Platform (Desktop, Mobile, Video), and Environment (Web or App). Additionally, it helps users in reporting placements.

The placement feature allows publishers and buyers to create a line of items in Bonzai Studio according to their media plan.

Networks which serves ads are called Ad Servers.
